Nu Look Aids in Rebuilding After Tornado in Edgewater, MD

A quick-moving tornado recently ripped through Edgewater, MD, in Anne Arundel County leaving behind a trail of severe damage to homes in the community. President of Nu Look Home Design, Tom Bury, was on site all day helping people begin to rebuild and restore their homes. He expresses, “It’s very important that these homeowners’ properties get back to their original condition. That’s what we do. We make sure that they get remade whole.”

“Things started rattling and shaking,” said Liz McCleskey. “We’ve got to take shelter.” Mrs. McCleskey’s home received some of the worst of that quick-moving storm. Her backyard is now unrecognizable. It was a place she and her family planned on using this Labor Day weekend. “We’re just going to celebrate that everyone is safe and that the dog is safe and the neighbors that we love, and, you know, we’re just going to rebuild,” said McCleskey.

It’s certainly not the expected Labor Day weekend for this community, but, as the sun shines on them with warm weather expected, so is a glimmer of gratitude for their safety.
